Within the framework of the course “Computer Architecture – Laboratory” (Department of Informatics and Communications, T.E.I. of Central Macedonia), I felt the wish to develop a program that flashes in a sequential manner the light-emitting diodes of the development platform BGC-8088.

More specifically: the program causes the sequential switching on and switching off of the light emitting diodes of the development platform BGC-8088 (CAPS, INS, PRINT) with a variable rate which starts slowly and accelerates gradually. When it reaches the maximum rate, it slows again until the lower limit. This process is repeated 10 times.

This project is written in the symbolic language of the microprocessor 8088.
